Port Economics at Erasmus University

Seaport Economics and Management

Academic research in Port Economics, Policy and Management. Our staff of researchers is continuously working at improving the knowledge about seaports. This results in a substantial number of publications on subjects such as port management, port clusters, leader firms and institutional issues in ports.

Business research on port related issues for various organizations, including private port companies, port authorities, national and local governments. We use our research skills and knowledge about seaports and the maritime industry to deliver high quality research for strategy building and decision support.

Education, mainly for students at Erasmus University Rotterdam, but also for other audiences, in the Netherlands and abroad. We provide state-of-art lectures and assignments, based on our own (ongoing) research. The courses on ports consistently receive excellent evaluations.

If you have any questions or inquiries please contact one of our staff members.
